Primary research questionnaire analysis

From the results I saw that the parody genre was chosen to be the majority favourite, this is relative to my ideas genre which shows me that my audience has a particular interest in my genre. This would give me a larger possible audience as this can also link to the age groups, which are also in my target audience.

It's clear to see that the majority of my survey audience consumes advertisement from the internet and TV, which is useful for me as the intended platform for this advert would be the internet. It also links back to the representation of my survey audience being mostly teens and young adults.

From these results I found out that the quality of acting is important to my audience. This will however not be a guarantee in the advert as the quality of the individual actors will vary and most likely not be of the quality of professionally made products.

It's clear that a effective parody advert requires a relevant setting to accomplish its objective. From
this I know that I'll have to create a film setting which resembles that of the parody subject.

From the results it shows that the genre and the actors are of most relevance when it comes to creating an effective parody advert. This tells me that I'll have to make the actors resemble those of the parody subject and to ensure that the genre conventions of my advert are clear and evident.

It seems that prominent branding is more positive than negative in the advert as it proves to cause the viewer to remember the brand more than causing them to dislike it. I could use this to ensure that there are

Even though my adverts time has been pre-determined to being around 1minute, these results  show me that the preferred time for adverts from the point of view of my audience is much shorter than my end products time length. This could be due to the growing access to information which has made peoples attention spans much shorter in recent times where people have such easy access to the internet.

It seems that the diversity of a cast is most not an important factor in the creation of an advert. This would therefore not be an issue to be considered in the choosing and casting of the actors to be used in the filming process.

This definitely makes it clear that the inclusion of a score in the background is important in the creation of an enjoyable product that can be watched throughout whilst remaining focused and entertained by the advert. The consideration of a fitting score will definitely be a key part of editing the final product.

The target audience for this product is from 18-34 and therefore will also include a younger cast of actors, this is due to the limited range of actors that I will have access to and therefore the age range of the actors that will be used in the advert will also revolve around 17-20.

The same goes with these results, a limited range of actors will not be very effected by these results, even though the attractiveness of the actors would seem to improve the effectiveness of the advert.
