Bon appetEat

The advert focuses on targeting its audience, of millennials, and selling them the service of Bon appetEat. The product being a food delivery service is popular with this specific audience as they are the most likely age group to utilise these sorts of services and takeaways. 

The advert portrays four actors as the target audience and they are put through situations which could occur within a group of them, such as being in a mundane situation and deciding to cook for themselves and ending up setting fire to what they were making.

The first advert takes place in two main settings, a living room and a kitchen. The actors are shown to be bored and not doing anything which in turn causes one of the actors to bring out their phone and suggests using the service to order some food. The group crowds around the main actor and are shown to be looking at the phone on which the website of the service is shown. The process of making their food is shown in rapid succession through close ups. And finally the food is shown to be delivered to the group by a delivery man. The setting of the living room changes to be brighter and more saturated to show how the mood of the actors has changed due to the service.

The second advert takes place in a similar setting in which the main actors are shown to be mellowed out. Two actors have a short exchange of dialogue in which they talk about the lack of food in the house. This causes one of the actors to suggest to cook for the group and ends up causing multiple problems in the course of preparing it. The actor ends up setting fire to a pan and has to throw it outside and extinguish it. In the scene of all the actors looking down onto the burnt up pan they decide to simply call up Bon appetEat.

Task research: Research into pop-up design

This short pop-up advert appears before the programme "The Big Bang Theory" as a sponsor. The pop-up keeps the name of the show and the name of the service visible on screen through out the video in the bottom corner whilst the actors are discussing the services functions.

The ad focuses on appealing to its audience of groups of young people. The actors used in the advert follow the stereotypical description of its audience through the way they are dressed in casual clothing such as tracksuits and are seen playing video games and watching TV.

The advert portrays the basic target of a pop-up ad as they introduce the service/product and try to appeal to their target audience by having its actors portray themselves as that audience.

After the actors finish conversing the screen cuts to show a different scene in another setting from an above shot. The logo, name and the services mobile home page slides into the middle of the screen to finally inform the audience about the products availability.

Action to take	As the filming of the actors and food will be shot on a glass table there will be actions taken to prevent any breaking or shattering. Action to take	There wont be any risk road traffic however there are often cars driving through the gate and up the driveway. However it’s easy to see any cars driving in and out. If there were to be any filming after sunset there are lights around the driveway and any outdoor walkways.

Description	Flammable materials

Action to take	The seating on the filming set is made of flammable material. In combination with the likelihood of lighters being present on filming set this would further increase the danger of the situation. Therefore any lighters or other sources of fire will be taken and stored out of reach of the filming site.
