Main influences behind advert ideas

The product of the advertisement is based on the concept of a website that links restaurants to one site where people can view categories of food, have access to a large selection of options and be able to order from multiple restaurants in just one order.

The main influences behind this idea is JustEat. JustEat is the most popular service of this kind and therefore some of its actions and options where taken into consideration when the idea was being constructed. JustEat provides a platform for its target audience to find and discover new restaurants from their area and support up and coming businesses. After the genre of the product was chosen to be a food delivery service, research into large and popular services from that market deemed JustEat as the most popular and successful.

JustEat's adverts and other marketing pieces show the product as over-the-top and exaggerated, aiming itself at the younger and busier demographic. The younger demographic, millennials, are more likely to use these services due to them being in full time education or employment and relying on these services to provide them with food or to provide for a larger group of people during a party or for roommates.
